Root canal treatment is necessary when tooth decay or an injury has reached the pulp, causing inflammation or the death of the tooth. During the treatment, we remove the infected nerves and disinfect the root canals, thereby eliminating the pain and the infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After thorough anaesthesia, we open up the tooth. Using modern mechanical reamers and a digital apex locator, we clean and rinse the root canals to an accuracy of a tenth of a millimetre. We seal the disinfected root canals with a medicated filling, followed by a permanent, hermetically sealed root filling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Depending on the number of root canals and the extent of the inflammation, the treatment requires one or two appointments, each lasting approximately 60\u201390 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
